Privacy Policy

Core2Life Products ("we," "us," "our") publishes Faith Alive, a line of downloadable Christian books, devotionals, and curricula sold on our core2lifeproducts.com websites, such as digital.core2lifeproducts.com and its product sites. This policy explains what information those sites collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It describes how our stores actually work today.

1. Information we collect

When you request a free sampler

• The email address you enter, which store's sampler you asked for, and the time of the request. This is stored in our own database.

When you buy a product

• Checkout happens on Stripe's hosted payment pages. Stripe collects your payment card details, your email address, and any billing details the checkout form asks for. We never see or store your full card number.
• Through Stripe we can see the details of your order: the product, the amount, the date, the email address and billing details you entered at checkout, and whether the payment was completed, refunded, or disputed.
• To deliver your download, our server checks your checkout with Stripe. It then records the Stripe checkout session ID, the product, the store, how many times the file has been downloaded, and when it was first and last downloaded. We use this record to enforce the re-download allowance described in our Terms of Service.

How you found us (purchase attribution)

• When you click a "Buy" button, the page adds a short reference to the Stripe checkout link. Stripe calls this field client_reference_id. Our reference contains only the utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign values from the page address (if there are any) and the domain name of the website that sent you to us (if your browser shares it). When there is none, it simply says "direct". We do not put your name, email address, or any other personal identifier in it.
• After a purchase is verified, we save that reference along with the product, the amount, the time, and a one-way hashed (non-reversible) version of the checkout session ID. This helps us learn which outreach efforts lead to purchases.

Downloads and technical logs

• We log each download we serve: the product and the time. For sampler downloads, the log also includes the email address you entered.
• Our servers, and Cloudflare (which hosts and protects our sites), process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page or file requested, and the time of the request. This is used to deliver pages, keep the sites secure, and troubleshoot problems.

When you email us

• Your email address and whatever you include in your message.

2. Cookies and tracking

Our store pages do not set cookies of their own and do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or other third-party tracking scripts. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies for security and bot protection. Stripe's checkout pages are run by Stripe, which uses its own cookies, for example to prevent fraud, under Stripe's privacy policy. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first.

3. How we use your information

• To deliver the samplers and products you request or buy.
• To verify purchases and limit re-downloads to the buyer.
• To send a welcome email after a sampler request (see section 4).
• To answer your questions, help with downloads, and process refunds.
• To understand, in aggregate, which outreach channels lead to purchases.
• To keep our sites secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To meet our tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-site or targeted advertising.

4. Emails we send

• Sampler welcome email. After you request a free sampler, we may send you one welcome email for that sampler from our Gmail account. It contains a link to your sampler and tells you about our other Faith Alive resources. If you request samplers from more than one of our stores, you may receive one welcome email for each. We do not add you to a recurring newsletter.
• Unsubscribing. To opt out of any further email from us, reply to our email with "STOP", or email core2lifeproducts@gmail.com with the subject "unsubscribe". We will honor your request promptly, and always within 10 business days, including for samplers you request later. If we ever begin sending other marketing emails, each one will include a way to unsubscribe, and we will not send them to anyone who has opted out.
• Purchase receipts. Payment receipts, when sent, come from Stripe.

5. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that run our stores, and only what they need to do that work:

• Stripe (payments, receipts, and fraud prevention). See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare (website hosting, network security, and email routing for our domain). See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
• Google (Gmail, which we use to send and receive email). See the Google Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect our rights or to prevent fraud. If our business is ever transferred, your information would move with it and would stay protected by this policy.

Our database runs on a computer we operate in the United States.

6. How long we keep information

• Sampler emails: kept until you ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe, we keep only what we need to make sure we don't email you again.
• Purchase and download records: kept as long as needed for delivery, support, refunds, and tax and accounting purposes, generally up to 7 years. Stripe keeps its own records under its own policy.
• Attribution records: these contain no name or email address. We keep them for business analysis.
• Technical logs: kept for the standard periods used by our servers and by Cloudflare.
• Support emails: kept as long as needed to resolve your request and keep a reasonable record of it.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate.
• Delete your information. We may keep records the law requires, such as tax records.
• Stop emails at any time (see section 4).

To make a request, email core2lifeproducts@gmail.com from the address you used with us. We will respond within 30 days. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live. Residents of some U.S. states, such as California, and people in the EU or UK may have additional rights under their local laws. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.

We operate from the United States, and the information we collect is processed in the United States.

8. Children

Our websites and sampler forms are for adults and are not directed to children under 13. Some of our products, such as children's curricula, are designed for parents, churches, and teachers to use with children, but they are sold to adults, and purchases must be made by an adult. Our stores do not ask for any information about the children who use our products, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Our sites use HTTPS, and our database is not publicly accessible. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
